• Completely remove all your old wooden roofline, fascias, soffits, guttering and barge boards.
• We will slide the first row of tiles back and remove all the old rotten felt.
• Tidy up and remove all the rotten spar ends, then pack them out or cut them back to make sure they are all level.
• We fix 9mm solid EUROCELL PVC soffit boards to the underside of the spars.
• We fix 18mm solid EUROCELL PVC fascia boards to the front of the spars.
• Attach 18mm solid EUROCELL PVC barge boards.
• We fit new felt tray with concealed over fascia ventilation (this brings your roof up to the new building standards and allowing your roof to breath).
• Install bird comb if required or requested.
• Replace roof tiles back into the correct position.
• Fit PVC dry verge caps to tile edges if requested or re-point with cement
• Fit new PVC gutters, brackets and fittings with new downpipes
• We Inspect the new roofline installation with yourself and ensure you are satisfied.
• we remove all the rubbish from the site.

We are replacing wooden fascias and soffits week in week out throughout Stockport, Manchester, Tameside, Oldham, Saddleworth and Glossop. We do not cover up old rotting wood, we fit a completely new upvc fascia and soffit, dry verge system caps, and a system which allows all the rain water to be collected and allows the roof structure to breath, all of which is as per current building regulations. Mallard conservatory bases are prepared to building regulations using cavity wall insulation. In addition we fit 100mm thick Kingspan insulation under a 100mm concrete floor. Although not needed by law, and not usually fitted by other conservatory companies, we believe this insulation should be installed as it helps to keep the conservatory warmer in winter making them more useable.

All PVC frames we use are A rated with A rated double glazed units with low E coated glass warm edge spacer bar and are Argon filled. These combine to maximise the insulation of the frames and windows keeping it cosy inside.

Our glass roofs use self cleaning energy rated glass. We can use various roof systems but usually specify Wendland roofs as they are solid and over engineered for strength and have a full box section ring beam which is fully wrapped in PVC. They are angled on inside profile for a simple but decorative look and have no large ledges at eaves for flies and spiders to make a home!
